Rock Pipit Anthus spinoletta Riabhóg chladaigh The Rock Pipit is an exclusively coastal relative of the Meadow Pipit. It is larger, darker and less noticeably streaked. The outer tail feathers are paler than the others but not white. The bill and legs are blackish, not pinkish as in the Meadow Pipit. The call, too, is a bolder squeak than that of the smaller bird.
