Mary Kinsella
Mary Kinsella was born and brought up on a County Wexford farm. Her first cookery lessons were at the kitchen table, where she measured and recorded the many recipes her mother had learned orally. Inspired to carry on the tradition, she studied cooking in Dublin, London and Paris, and later became a teacher of cooking in Ireland, where she now lives.
An Irish Farmhouse Cookbook includes recipes for over 250 dishes adapted for today's kitchens. Measures for each are given in metric units and American cups, as well as pounds and ounces, and a glossary of terms and many useful cooking suggestions are also given.
This book is readily available for sale in USA, Canada, Ireland, Britain and mainland Europe.
