Marion O'Malley is a delightful lady who knows just how to make her guests feel at home, offering a cup of tea and some of her delicious home-baked scones upon arrival.The bedrooms are clean with pretty duvets; there are electric blankets, hot water bottles, and the house has been freshly redecorated. Excellent breakfasts and dinners are served, using the best cuts of meat provided by Mr O'Malley, who is a local butcher. Vegetarian meals and special diets are catered for by request; dinners must be ordered in advance.There is a pleasant sitting room with an open fire where guests receive a complimentary Irish coffee after dinner. Smoking is not permitted. Moher House is located off the Western Way Walking Trail. A pickup and drop off service is available.The more adventurous can climb Croagh Patrick Mountain, with its magnificent view of 365 islands.Transport to the pub in the evening also offered. Fishing is available in Moher Lake across the road from the house.Visa accepted.Take the N59 heading south on the Westport/Clifden Road.
